Dr. Phillip Good is the Director of St Vincent’s Hospital Palliative Care Unit in Brisbane, offering both inpatient and home-based care. He also actively pursues his research interest in palliative medicine, and is currently appointed as an Associate Professor at the Mater Research Institute.
Kate has provided leadership and program management support to the jointly funded Comprehensive Palliative Care in аĿª½± Measure since 2020. Prior to that she was the Clinical Director for Southern Adelaide Palliative Care Services.
She spoke about Hospice in the RACF which is a contemporary and innovative approach to supporting residents in both metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia.

Prof Meera Agar addressed the challenges of palliative care delivery in both a hospital and aged care setting – are they different? Do we have to develop internal palliative care services? What is access to palliative care services really like – especially in rural and remote settings.
